In my opinions, farmers shouldn't use the chemical ractopamine on pork for three reasons. First of all, it's harmful for human body. According to the Taipei Times, it can cause some symptoms such as racing heartbeat, dizzines,...,etc. Moreover, more people will die after eating the pork with chemical. Next, I think that it's a trend of the world. For example, there are more than 160 countries which ban the chemical, so farmers can't use the chemical on fruits and vegetables anymore. In my views, the pig and cattle farmers should also do it. Lastly, it's no benefit for a long period. In fact, the human body can't clear these chemical and it will still be in the body. That will result in more potential damages such as diseases, and social problems. Moreover, the government shouldn't accept the pressure from other countries. The public welfare is more important than the government's face.
In conclusion, because of the three reasons discussed above, farmers shouldn't use the chemical ractopamine on pork.
